Pixel Garden
House of Hype Dubai
Role: Direction / Artist / Animation
Pixel Garden is a hyperreal journey through luminous ecological dreamscapes — a radiant embrace of surreal life forms tending to floating fields of cybernetic blooms. This living digital garden breathes with its own rhythms, where insects, flowers, and roots harmonize within a meditative nutrient blanket of color, texture, and movement.
Built primarily in Notch’s real-time environment, the work draws on a catalogue of stylised biomorphic flora and fauna, each form an echo of nature reduced to its essence. Additional tools and techniques supported the process, but Notch’s immediacy and flexibility were central to shaping the piece. Projection mapping transforms the physical room into a seamless habitat, surrounding visitors in a boundless flow of light and motion.
At its core, Pixel Garden is an exploration of the interplay between organic vitality and synthetic creation — a space where the familiar language of nature meets the speculative beauty of digital life.
