LIFE OF A NEURON

Role: Art Direction / Design / Animation

I was invited by ARTECHOUSE to design and animate the Development section for there Life of a Neuron exhibit in Washington DC and NYC.

Life of a Neuron brings artists and scientists together for a groundbreaking collaboration to explore how the brain shapes the shared human experience. Through collaboration with the Society for Neuroscience and the world’s leading scientists and creatives, this immersive exhibit will allow us to experience a neuron—from pre-birth to death—providing an experiential view of life at a cellular level.

Design

The Projection system at ARTECHOUSE is world class. Ultra hires laser projects combined with 6 wall surfaces makes for an immersive spectacle like no other. Designing for such a space is both challenging and fun. Below are a selection of the wall and floor designs.
